Site Maintenance: $50/hr

Site Design & Setup: $350 per site, up to 3 pages installed

Starting out? Need a domain name, web host, a design, ideas for content, and plan for maintenance? Here's how we begin at the beginning

• Web Host Referral - You choose from 3 recommended host providers, with pricing and services researched for you. This follows a discussion of features you would want in a host, given your specific needs
• Domain Name Research - if you don't already have a name, choose with guidance from a suggested list of appropriate and available names
• FTP and Domain setup on the host of your choice, allowing you to upload files, and allowing search programs to find your site
• Basic instruction on how to maintain the site yourself, if applicable
• 1 site design, applied to 3 pages on your approval
• Additional pages added at per service fee or $50/hr, depending on the services you choose

Site Upgrades: $250 up to 8 pages

• Update current style, with your existing logo, more visible navigation, new color scheme of your choice
• Add a visitor statistics counter (a "pageview" counter) of your choice
• Repair code problems
• Fix display errors
• Fix broken links
• Adjust font size for readable text (following guidelines by usability expert Jakob Nielsen)
• Check for basic elements for Search Engine Optimization (image descriptions, titles, page descriptions, keyword use). NOTE: Adding any desired SEO changes to your code is provided at $50/hr, on your approval.

Content copywriting, editing: $50/hr + $50 per page (up to 300 words)

E-Newsletter Publishing: $250 (up to 5 brief articles/newsletter)

Special: $195 when you publish a link to BlueJProjects.com

E-Newsletter system setup: $200

• Set up your email subscriber system (such as Constant Contact or PHPList)
• Install signup boxes on your website

• Style newsletter template to look like your current site

Blog setup (install WordPress, customize a theme): $250

• Phone consultation to establish your topics, your target readers, your technical needs, and your hopes for the blog. This is essential to help choose the best options for setup, indexing, and page layout.
• Installing the latest version of WordPress on your web host, at your existing or new domain
• Selecting a theme -- There are thousands of templates to choose from. Browse them yourself, or choose from 3 of my recommendations. All can be customized with your images and text.
• Configuring Wordpress for your type of use, such as
• Membership: who is allowed to comment
• Writing and Update Options: inserting a list of update services to notify when you have new content
• Navigation links: adding links to desired websites or pages other than your blog articles
• Plugins - add features to make it more useful to you, like spam prevention, automatic version upgrade, articles series list, Twitter updates
• Customising the look of the theme for your audience with 3 custom images.
• 1 banner image
• 1 personal image for your "about" page.
• 1 favorite icon -- your existing favorite icon (favicon.ico) will be incorporated, or you may request a design
• Walk-through -- Once your blog is installed, you get a phone-based walkthrough of your WordPress setup and how to use it.

Musician Services: $50/hr

• MP3's converted from your CD's, for a downloadable format
• setup a service to sell music downloads with PayPal from your site
• "Listen Now" pages: simple web-player automatically plays your clips, lets visitors choose clips from an album
• video processing: for YouTube and to play on your site
• photo album: for your gallery page
• One-Sheet writing/design: help you market and set up concert events
